Although COVID-19 cases are at an all-time high, there is hope on the horizon with a vaccine rolling out. And that’s helping the travel industry bounce back. But the slow recovery process pushed hotels to find novel ways to ensure guest safety. After hospitality brands like the Four Seasons rolled out advanced cleanliness programs, other luxury properties are now instating new safety measures: on-site COVID-19 testing.

Sollis Health, a members-only medical concierge service, recently partnered with several luxe hotels to offer PCR tests with results in 24 hours. For example, at the W South Beach Hotel, guests can schedule an appointment through the concierge or avoid contact by simply scanning a QR code. After scheduling, the test will be administered in a designated location on-site with a medical expert to administer the test. Similar offerings are available at The Four Seasons in Miami and Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles through this partnership.
The testing is in addition to other emergency health care services. At the Chateau Marmont Hotel, Cottages, and Bungalows, guests also get temporary access to services like services in-room provider visits, advanced emergency care, expedited COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, infusions, telemedicine, and diagnostic imaging like MRIs, X-Rays, and ultrasounds. Everything is available on site or via room service.
