The first guests will enter the park at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles on February 17, 2023. Unique to the land is the groundbreaking new ‘Mario Kart: Bowser Challenge’ ride, which invites visitors to navigate Mario Kart-themed tracks while wearing augmented reality goggles.
Super Mario-themed dishes on offer include Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots, Super Mushroom Soup, Mario Bacon Cheeseburger, Luigi Pesto Chicken Burger, Piranha Plant Caprese salad and a Princess Peach Cupcake.
Unique to the park is the groundbreaking new ‘Mario Kart: Bowser Challenge’ ride, which invites visitors to navigate Mario Kart-themed tracks while wearing augmented reality goggles.
The ‘all-new, technologically-advanced ride’ promises to fuse ‘cutting-edge augmented reality with projection mapping technology and actual set pieces along a moving ride track’.
