Following days of next to no virus cases in Victoria, Jetstar have dropped a stunning new fare that will whisk Melburnians to the blue waters and white sands in Hamilton Island – and for less than $100.
The budget airline have dropped airfares between Melbourne and Hamilton Island to a jaw-dropping $99 one way.
The low-cost carrier is introducing the new direct flight path between Melbourne and Hamilton Island from 29 March 2021.
The flight sale has travel dates running between 29 March and 30 June 2021, which is the perfect time to escape those cooler Melbourne temperatures.

But you have only a few hours to snap up a bargain, with the sale set to end at midnight tonight.
The new route, which will have a four-weekly direct flight timetable, will run in addition to the current path between Sydney and Hamilton Island.
Australia’s domestic aviation industry has been decimated amid ongoing borders closures in response to COVID-19 outbreaks across the country.
Following the Northern Beaches outbreak and subsequent border closures between the state of NSW and Queensland, Jetstar and Qantas were forced to cancel hundreds of flights out of Sydney.
About half of Jetstar’s cancellations, which were between December 24 until at least January 8, were out of Sydney to Queensland leisure destinations including Hamilton Island, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and the Whitsunday Coast.
