Fan Of ‘Bridgerton?’ This Romantic Collaboration From LoveShackFancy X BeachRiot Will Be The Diamond Of Your Workout

In the first flush of pandemic, a collaboration between LoveShackFancy and athletic brand Bandier made considerable waves. LoveShackFancy, a Manhattan-based clothing line with their first flagship store located in Sag Harbor, has a very clear aesthetic: romantic florals and frills. Creative Director, and founder, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, credits the creation of LoveShackFancy to love itself. After designing the bridesmaids dresses for her own wedding, she saw a gap in the fashion world.

LSF fills that gap boasting flowing wrap dresses, vintage inspired fabrics and a distinct air of whimsy and has subsequently cornered the market on wearable romance. Which is apparently what consumers wanted in the summer of 2020. That first capsule collaboration, filled with matching floral workout sets, sold out in 4 minutes.

Following that came a Morgan Lane collaboration of jersey pajamas. They sold out in a record 12 hours. While yeast, flour and toilet paper all became hot commodities in 2020, athleisure slid in out of necessity. Suddenly jeans and suits seemed fussy and flowy, stretchy clothes were in. Coupled with the rise of app and Zoom at-home fitness routines, that comfort level is here to stay.

Enter Beach Riot, known for brightly colored swim and workout wear, and the appeal is clear. Available as a limited-edition collaboration, the line launches on January 7th with lounge wear, one-pieces and sets.
